Fall Freedom Day

On November 20, 2019, we joined forces with RAICES and the National Bond Fund Network to bond out 200 individuals across the country. From Las Vegas, we bonded out 16 individuals from Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Georgia for Fall Freedom Day, with an average bond amount of $10,300 each.

Reuniting Families Impacted by Police-ICE Collaboration

In Las Vegas, 80% of individuals in deportation proceedings are in that process as a result of police-ICE collaboration.  We are fighting to end police-ICE collaboration and as part of that fight we have posted bond to reunite families for individuals in deportation proceedings after they called law enforcement in domestic violence situations, because of unpaid traffic tickets, and other low level infractions.  Take action for ICE Out of Las Vegas here.

Arriving Asylum Seekers

Frequently asylum seekers who presented as the border end up detained in Nevada.  In the last year, their bonds have been the highest, $15,000-$20,000 we have bonded out individuals from Central America and Africa seeking asylum and to be united with their families in the U.S.
